Made in Philadelphia is an original screenplay about the untold true story of Phil Leonetti, the youngest underboss in mafia history, and how he brought down the mob. Set in one of the most brutal eras of the Philadelphia Crime Family, young Phil Leonetti rose through the ranks to become second-in-command to his uncle, Nicodemo "Little Nicky" Scarfo, and eventually turned government witness. His cooperation turned convictions against his own family, John Gotti, Vincent Gigante, and countless others. The downfall of La Cosa Nostra as it was began with Phil Leonetti.

About Matthew Clark
Hi! My name is Matthew Clark and I am a resident of Tarzana, California. Thank you for visiting my website. I am the screenwriter behind Made in Philadelphia and I am looking to sell my script and have it produced for all to see.
Born in Philadelphia, I grew up watching films like Goodfellas and Donnie Brasco, realistic yet glorified stories about La Cosa Nostra. It had always bothered me that a story about the most violent crime family, The Philadelphia Crime Family, has never been told on film on such a large scale. That’s where I come in. By researching the story of Philip Leonetti and Nicky Scarfo, and speaking to the FBI Agent in charge at that time, I wrote the screenplay Made in Philadelphia. In 2024 I started entering the script into the film festival circuit, and have been surprised and humbled at all of the attention, awards, and accolades it has received.
My life’s goal is bring this screenplay to life on the big screen.
